New registration and submission are accepted on an ongoing basis!!

The Infant Mental Health Association of Maryland and D.C. (IMHA-MD/DC) is excited to launch the Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health (I/ECMH) Endorsement. As a member of IMHA-MD/DC you have access to our internationally recognized Competency Guidelines for Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health and Endorsement for the Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health®.

IMHA-MD/DC Endorsement® Monthly Office Hours- 2nd Wednesday of each month at 12 noon EST  *** NO OFFICE HOURS IN OCTOBER

Drop-in anytime during monthly office hours to talk with IMHA-MD/DC staff about the Infant Mental Health Endorsement® or Early Childhood Mental Health Endorsement®. This opportunity is open to prospective and current Endorsement® applicants as well as endorsed colleagues.

Endorsement Renewal

Endorsement renewal is due on a fixed 3 year cycle. The next Endorsement renewal is 2027!

 

Alliance Logo

You are joining an international group of professionals who have chosen to earn the Endorsement credential as a way to demonstrate specialization in the infant-early childhood mental health field. Endorsement was developed by the Michigan Association for Infant Mental Health in 2002 and is now used by 36 state IMH associations and 2 international associations. Each of those associations is a member of the Alliance for the Advancement of Infant Mental Health.

Through the Alliance, this means that your Endorsement is recognized in each of those 38 associations.
